It is 1 year I purchased Samsung A55 and I am yet to get the update of UI 7 and Android 15.  Whereas, the new phone A56 is already coming with UI 7 and Android 15.  A series has already been bestowed with the latest Android.

After sales, they are least bothered on the update and service.

Very poor service.

They are a massive company with endless resources.. There is no reason they can't get updates faster at least to their older flagships such as the s24u and s23u. Their artiecture isn't massively different than the s25 series phones. To not even be in beta yet is a slap in rhe face to their update promises

I can tell you have NEVER written code for devices. Different countries different laws. Different countries Different people. Different people Different talent. They literally have thousands of people per device. Not to mention architecture is still different enough. If they wasn't that different then Qualcomm for example wouldn't need 3 different drivers for their modems and their processors. OEM wouldn't need to modify the kernels. Samsung could just uses OnePlus Kernel or vise versa. They are different enough.

Fun fact if you mad at newly released A series has Android 15 blame Google. One of the licensing rules from Google newly released devices must have the newest OS in order to get Google services.

Guess having money makes updates faster for any company no it's a different thing when you change things and get the bugs fixed

Totally agree. Not sure how the **bleep**ing A series comes before their flagship galaxy devices.

How is it that you don't understand that the newest phones are built around the new UI, that's why they are introduced with it, and the older phones have to wait?

No, I would not, because I don't live and die by updates. Also, the only promise I expect Samsung to keep is 7 YEARS of updates, not one update a year for 7 years. When I buy anything, I buy it as is, not for what is to be (except for the aforementioned support). Are you a software engineer for mobile devices? More specifically, Samsung devices? No? Then get a job with Samsung and hurry them along.

As a software developer you would know the differences between writing software and writing an OS.
Why don't you offer your services to make updates go faster?
