Did you run the diagnostics as @GaryB82 suggested? Also, I'm curious. If you took it to a repair place for this issue, what did they say? Did they say the vibration was working properly? I can't imagine they would have just tested it and not quoted you a repair price if something was wrong with it. If the repair shop didn't find anything wrong, and performing a diagnostic yourself doesn't find anything wrong, you may want to consider backing up your device and doing a factory reset. If you also restarted in safe mode as GaryB82 suggested, if the vibration did work, then you know some third party app is interfering. Did you recently install any new apps? Did you have an update and did not clear the phone's cache partition afterward? You give very little information of the circumstances surrounding this loss of vibration.
Ok went into safe mode and thought about diagnostic but couldn't find it. Also the repair said samsong will have to update this and they haven't did a update in a long time.
Diagnostics can be found in the device care settings of your phone or through the support tab of the members app. You can run the diagnostic on your whole phone, but there is a specific diagnostic for vibration.
I gather that when you went into safe mode the vibration still did not work. What model is your phone that it's not getting updates?
Did you go to an authorized Samsung repair place or just any old phone repair place?
You didn't say whether or not you installed any new apps around the time your vibration stopped working.
