Greetings,

I have a Galaxy A42-5G and I need to transfer (Move) the photographs from the internal storage to the SIM.

How can I accomplish this?

Many thanks!

You cannot directly move or store photos on a SIM card because its storage capacity is too small and designed only for contact data and network information.

No. The SIM is 128GB and the cell is now setup to store photographs taken to store images there. I should have set it up like that from the beginning.

Thanks,

I believe you are talking about an SD Card

SIM cards and SD cards differ primarily in purpose: SIM cards store network authentication data for cellular connectivity, while SD cards act as portable storage for user files like photos and apps

Astronaut,

I should not have used the word 'SIM'. It is a MicroSD card. My bad!

@lgldsr73  You would need to install a Micro SD card on the opposite side of the Sim card and then you open files and select the images you want to move to the Sd card.

Thanks Gary. There is a 128GB MicroSD card in there now. I should not have used the word 'SIM'. My bad on that.

Thanks,

Ok so you now need to move the files to the sd card
Open File explorer
Select the files you want to move and click on the move icon on the bottom of the screen
then select SD card on the page that popped up and then click move here
