Galaxy A23 internal storage glitch

After last update, so.et8mes after my phone restarts, it has a glitch where my internal storage will not read and it will act like it is almost out of storage. It will also, not show any of my documents in my files app and some of my apps misbehave. My solution for this is that I have to restart my phone 2- 4 times before it will go back to normal. This issue will happen about once a week or so.

@RocknReggie How much free space do you have on your device? If the device is nearly full, the operating system can't operate properly.

You need to remove some files from your phone. I would suggest keeping it at 85% or less.

Back up your files to a USB flash or cloud and then remove them from your phone.

I have moved pics and files to One Drive and deleted as much as I felt comfortable with but I am going to try and clear the cache partition and see if that will help. I have not tried that yet, so maybe that will do it. Thank you for your tips. I will let ya know how it goes!

Try clearing the phone's cache partition. You won't lose any of your data. Power your device off. After it is off, press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously until the Android Recovery screen appears. Navigate to "Wipe cache partition" using the Volume buttons and select it with the Power button. Finally, confirm by selecting "Yes" and rebooting the device.

OK, I will try clearing the cache partition first because I have not done that yet.

If you have the A23, could you buy a micro SD card to increase your storage?

I did have an SD card and I did not find that it helped. I would move all files and photos/videos to that card but it still wouldn't help my storage because of my apps and other things. So, I just use online storage.
