Getting silent phone calls and how can I enable video calling?

I have been getting silent phone calls and emails asking me to turn on my video functions. My phone still has the original phone app. I have a Google chat for Gmail, that I think is the app that is needed to answer my video calls. How do I enable my video calling for my Galaxy A20? @Hubert There is no Google chat app video. The Google product is Google Meet.

The Google chat is for gmail.

I have the original phone app for my Galaxy A20 android, phone. I don't know how to replace the phone app. As well the sending request to accept the call in Google meet is not to my likeing, it should let anyone just call and connect.

@Hubert You don't replace the phone app. After Google Meet is installed, you can click on a contact and you will see the following icons: Phone, Messages, Google Meet, and info.

I have interacted with like four apps and have friends trying to contact me. My current ph9ne app doesn't have a selection to choose the video. They are not on my contacts list, I like the old legacy video chat with instant connections.
