A Series & Other Mobileuhm I paid for a plan tho, and the provider I use provides Mobile Data (4G LTE or 5G) through their nationwide network of cell towers, so it would be kinda impossible for me to not have signal

A Series & Other MobileCheck the security settings for your phone, as well as the security settings for your mobile hotspot. Go to the mobile hotspot configuration, tap on your network name, tap advanced and make sure you have the proper security protocol - WPA-2 or 3. In the phone's security settings, make sure you either have auto blocker off or tap on the auto blocker tile to bring up the options. Tap on "maximum" at the bottom and make sure it's off. The auto blocker feature itself won't prevent hotspot or mobile data access, but the maximum settings might, especially if you have allow 2G service enabled in your mobile network settings (some carriers block out this setting so you can't change it). Check in connections/mobile networks.
If none of that works, I suggest a reset of your mobile network.

A Series & Other Mobile@iron_hands143 There is no need for mobile data for calling.
Do you have a work account on the phone? Depending on your employer, they could impose a pretty strict lockdown on the phone.
Go to phone settings -> Security and privacy -> More security settings and click on Device admin apps. This will show you any apps which are imposing security restrictions on your phone.

A Series & Other MobileThanks for helping, but what I was referring to was prepaid credits, so like you buy E-pins and register them for a promo, or you pay for network, and you would basically have internet for like a limited time until you "load" or pay for another package
| Short Term | 3 Days | Go59: 5GB data + 1GB 5G data. |
| Standard | 7 Days (1 Week) | Go+99: 8GB data + 8GB for specific apps (e.g., YouTube/FB). |
| Mid-Range | 15 Days | Go+179: 8GB all-sites + 8GB 5G data + 8GB for choice apps. |
| Long Term | 30 Days | Monthly bundles, such as Go+999 (availability varies by app-exclusive offers). |

A Series & Other MobileOh, I just re-read your post. As @LongHiker said, there is no need to use mobile data or mobile hotspot for calling if you are outside. Mobile data is so you can view maps, surf the web and such. The hotspot is only for if you have another device connected that needs to use the data. As long as you have a mobile signal, you can make and receive calls and texts.
