A Series & Other MobileHello Edm326, welcome to the Samsung Community! I understand your concerns with your device not connecting to your mobile network and dropping calls after the most recent update. Depending on your region and environment, your device may temporarily disconnect from your mobile network or have a slow network connection. This may be due to your subscribed plan, access region, and mobile network settings. Check with your carrier to verify that there aren't any issues with your account. Reset your network settings: Open Settings, tap General Management, tap Reset, tap Reset Network Settings, tap Reset Settings, tap Reset and test your mobile connection. Please Note: Resetting your network settings will remove all Bluetooth pairings and store Wi-Fi networks.
Here is a link to some troubleshooting steps for your device dropping calls: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001240/
If you continue to lose your mobile network connection or if it continues to disconnect after contacting your carrier and performing all the above troubleshooting steps, please visit a Samsung walk-in service center or you can schedule a repair service online.
