[Galaxy A32] How do I remove the news pop ups on my lock screen?

I have a Galaxy A32 5G that has started showing news and ad squares/bubbles/icons/notifications, I don't know what to call them, on the lock screen. Once the screen is unlocked they disappear. I don't want to see them at all. How do I make them go away all together?

Those squares, and/or bubbles may be coming from a third-party app that was installed on your phone.

Do they still appear when running in Safe Mode?

It's my wife's phone. I will try out Safe Mode when she gets home.

Did the long press of the power button and I do not see a Safe Mode.

Pull down the Quick Panel
Press the POWER button
Long-press POWER OFF
Press SAFE MODE BUTTON

Okay, no news squares in safe mode.

That means that it's probably one of the apps that were installed when you started noticing the news squares. You would then uninstall the suspected app. Then restart and check. Process of elimination.

One other thing, after you restart regularly from Safe Mode, you might have to reset your wallpaper or theme
