The thing I don't understand, is where does the email w/photo end up? I sent it to my computer (several times), and the phone said it was sent, but I never received it. Nor did I receive an error message etc. But I will do as you advise, to be safe, and use Quick Share.
Just to be clear, you should be using Quick Share Link, not Quick Share.
The email should show up in your email inbox, unless your email service is marking it as Junk or Spam, and you should look in those folders for the email.
