Nice job! So you removed the micro SD card to remedy your problem? This will prove very helpful for users in the future.

Correct.

Removed the 512G micro SD I purchased from Samsung for this phone and the Ui7 battery drain is now 100% gone. Of course all my photos and music are gone too. Yea Samsung.

That's messed up. Does it (battery drain) come back if you place the memory card back in?

Update on removing the micro SD card to eliminate battery drain.

On Aug 14 I removed the micro SD card from my A15 and battery drain dropped to a very low of using 12% of the battery with 1 hour of screen time over a 13 hour period. Wonderful low battery use.

On Aug 16 battery drain had increased to 66% over 12 hours with 2 hours of screen time. Not so good.

Today Aug 17 only two hours into the day we are already at 22% of battery use with a small 45 minutes of screen time. At this rate we may not make a single day on one charge.

It seems whatever software process is draining the battery in Android 15/UI7 was temporarily  interrupted when the micro SD card was removed. Over the next two days that process has now increased battery drain and now we are back to much more battery drain than under Android 14/UI6.

So removal of the micro SD card was not a solution but perhaps a hint as to what is wrong with the Android 15/UI7 software release. Could this battery use be related to AI code embedded in Android 15? Is Android 15 consuming my battery with AI code scanning all my personal files? I have no idea but color me very unhappy with the Google/Samsung consortium.

Unfortunately, you can't roll back ui updates. Try restricting battery usage of certain apps, disabling nearby device scanning, disable printing service, closing apps regularly, run good lock galaxy app booster after a reboot, automate turning of bluetooth, wifi, and location services when not in use, and turn of animations. Any help this gives to battery drain also lowers performance so do keep that in mind when taking these suggestions.

I did those.but battery capacity isn't like before in 6.1.
