Washers and DryersThere is white residue left on the clothing, no matter the amount of detergent used. Especially noticeable on dark clothing. Also some clothes have dry areas.

Washers and DryersI can certainly understand how frustrating that is and am happy to help! It's possible that the washer may need a self clean cycle done as there can be a build up of detergent. You can check out the following thread for the self clean cycle: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Washers-and-Dryers/Samsung-Washer-Residue-All-Types/m-p/1416480#...
From personal experience, it could be a couple of other things causing this:
1. Hard Water- Contains high levels of minerals.
- Some signs of having hard water: A white, chalky buildup on water-using appliances or
Cloudy or rust-colored spots on dishes, glasses, and flatware
2. Drain hose is too far down- A Samsung washing machine's drain hose should be inserted 6ā8 inches into a standpipe, and the standpipe should be no shorter than 18 inches from the floor. The drain hose should not be installed below 39 inches, and it should not be higher than 96 inches.
