Top load washer won't stop filling with water

The water of out of rinse spout sometimes won't shut off even with power off and sometimes it does shut off. It's a hit or miss...help please

I have a similar problem. Water won't stop filling--though it will stop when I hit pause or End. The tech just replaced the water level sensor, but that did not fix the issue. He's still trying to figure it out.

I replace the water valve in the control...bought on Amazon for $35 and took about 30 -40 minutes to take apart and replace. As of now it has been fixed

Update -- he did get it fixed in the end, with the replacement of the water-level pressure switch. It was a finicky repair, and I hope it holds!
