Washers and Dryers
I recently tried to have our dryer repaired through Samsung. Their 3rd party service is Home Services Network. The service I received was rockbottom. Is there anyone at Samsung I can contact to get some relief?
The technician who came to our house didn't understand the problem with the dryer, and his attempted fix didn't work. He didn't stay long enough to see the result of the fix. I trusted his judgement, though, and gave my credit card info and was charged. I called the support line approximately half an hour after he left and advised them of what happened. The rep said she would contact the technician and call me back, but never did, and subsequently closed the ticket.
The story goes on for a while but the bottom line is a technician wasn't redispatched and no refund issued. Samsung apologized for the inconvenience but didn't offer to resolve this.
I'm totally aggravated by this.

Washers and DryersHere's my advice for future repairs. Even though you have a device or appliance of any brand, if it is not under warranty and needs service, you are free to use any repair service you choose. Check around locally, read Google & Yelp reviews, check for recommendations on Next Door. There really is nothing magic about the servicers that Samsung certifies except that they have primary access to genuine Samsung parts (but many repair places can still get genuine parts).
