Trim around edge of Tab S6 Lite ?

I just bought a Tab s6 lite and can't tell if this horrible edge is supposed to be removable or if it is just a bad finish. It's a thin clear strip all the way around the tablet, has all holes and openings in it and no way that I can see to remove it.  There are places around the tablet(about a third total) where the edge of the clear strip is up enough to hang a fingernail on. Anybody seen this before.

Yes, seen it.  It's poorly-designed protective plastic.  I was using my new Tab 6  for a few hours before I discovered 2  more plastic strips to peel off.

Nothing a finger tab or two couldn't fix, Samsung!

mine had protective plastic along outer edges all the way around. first thing to go. 😂
