Yeah, you've heard this before. Press Power and Volume Down, and that works. But - as soon as I turn the tablet off, it won't turn on. The ONLY way I can start the tablet is by resetting it with Power/VolDn. Newly charged, holding now at 91%, seems to work fine after restarting, I can work with it for quite a while. But every time I turn it off, it will not start.
Ideas (other than getting a new one - this one's like new)?
I hear you. I put it away many years ago because it kept crashing, and was thinking about a new one. Saw I could get a rebate for trading in my old one if it charged, held a charge and started, so charged it and tried. It's in perfect shape, still had my software/game I was running, and worked great, so why spend the money? Until now, and it doesn't restart. ALMOST worth it to just restart every time, but it is a pain.
