Samsung DeX in One UI 8 is terrible. Classic DeX is removed.

I just saw SamMobile release their video of Samsung DeX on One UI 8. 

In my opinion this is absolutely abysmal that Classic DeX has been removed for an inferior product. 

I have been a longtime Samsung fan and customer from 2017-2021 and 2022-now. Before those eras I have been using Apple but I have switched to Samsung due to their customizability and hardware capabilities. What is happening now is very disappointing and I feel that Samsung is not listening to their customers anymore. In fact, I feel that Samsung has started to become like Apple in removing useful and innovative features one at a time. At this point, if Samsung chooses to proceed with this new DeX I will be switching to Lenovo or other competitors. Bring back Classic DeX.

That's quite a stupid suggestion.

New UI has several good features but the removal of Classic DeX is not a good idea since new DeX is not working smoothly enough on new devices. I have a Samsung Z Fold 7 and the new DeX on my mobile does not let me play any video on full screen mode while using DeX. It is a common issue that Samsung hasn't yet resolved.

they didn't force me. It came on my new phone without any warning. I use dex all the time. They are entitled to their opinion.

Cloud desktop have been around on linux since 2005, I'm sure there is something around these days on android that can run some form of dex like desktop if you look.

classic Dex should be maintained, many people use a tablet instead of a computer.

You guys are sounding like an old dad complaining how windows xp changed to vista > 7 > 8 > 10 > 11... in the end it's the same thing.

The new UI looks cleaner is easier. What I don't like they still have since classic version a big bar on top of all windows when you use windows controls only in the right corner that takes huge part of screens. Apple on ios23 iPad made it more elegant and similar to macros. It's clear Samsung is going on similar way. Add some productive feedback for the devs instead of ranting, thanks!
