S10 Ultra Tablet Keyboard not working at all :-(

Just dropped a pretty penny on the S10 Ultra and the Book Cover keyboard.

The keyboard does absolutely nothing. It's brand spanking new so I can't imagine it's a dud out of the box... but I've tried:

Resetting the cache (multiple times)
Looking for updates ("you're on the latest version")
Deleting any 3rd party apps (including GBoard and everything else I could find)

Anybody else have any ideas? Samsung support itself told me they can't help me so I've been browsing here and reddit with no solutions 😞

Is it listed in Settings->General Management->Physical Keyboard? 

Have you tuned your tablet completely off and then restarted it with the keyboard connected?

Hey friend!

It's still listed as "Not Connected" under physical keyboard.

I did just try restarting it again with keyboard attached just in case (powered all the way down, left if off, started it up again)

The next thing I would suggest is that since the tablet is new, performing a Factory Reset without restoring any backups and see if the keyboard is recognized... if it's still not recognized then it is probably a bad keyboard and you would need to start a warranty claim.

It RANDOMLY started working for like 30 seconds (perfectly)... then stopped.

It happened too fast to figure out what I did differently but when I was typing the screen keyboard stayed hidden... and then when it stopped working again, the screen keyboard was popping up... maybe it's a setting??

Try Settings->General Management->Reset->Reset All Settings

Until Samsung releases a One UI 7 Beta for tablets, I am holding off on buying the keyboard cover for my Tab S9 Ultra. By the time the stable One UI 7 release comes out, it is possible that the keyboard cover could be sold out.

Of course, do what you think is best for you but if you're worried about the Samsung Keyboard, you are better off buying a 3rd party one that is backlit, better protects the tablet from a drop, and is much better if you use the tablet on your lap that the kickstand style Samsung cover.
