Screen dead, but my Tab S6 Lite is otherwise functional, confirmed by connecting to a PC and can see and access all data folders, and tablet makes usual audio notifications when, for example, an email is received.

Have a replacement S6 on the way, but want to clear all data from dead screen unit before disposing of it. Normally I would do a hard, factory reset to accomplish this, but can find no method to do this that doesn't require the screen.

Is there a way to clear all data on a dead screen S6 using a connected PC, from which I can see the S6's data folders, or is there any other method?

Are you using a device with Link to Windows?  Is it possible to access the tablet's settings to reset the device?

I've read of using Samsung DeX to link to Windows, but, one step involved is selecting to enable DeX using the S6 screen, which I cannot do since I cannot see anything on the screen (and also can't determine if the screen will register touch or the pen).

From what I've seen, to reset the device (press power+vol up) requires being able to see when the Samsung logo appears, then being able to view and select from the reset menu, all of which I cannot do since I can't see anything on the S6 screen.

While the risk is low, I would, for security purposes, like to clear all data, apps stored passwords, etc., from the S6 prior to recycling. As described previously, I can see the S6's folders and copy data to my PC, but, these are the data folders only. So, is there a way to completely wipe the S6 using a connected PC?

Well, if you can't access the screen, and you are going to recycle it anyway, I would suggest taking it apart and removing the SSD from it and scratching it up a bit to damage it.  I have done this for dead phones before.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've viewed videos of opening the S6 and it appears a bit challenging, requiring heating while inserting a pick tool to work your way around the periphery until the screen is separated. Not concerned at this point of damaging the unit, obviously, but a bit concerned about damaging the lithium battery in the process and the risk that entails.

I believe the battery to be more toward the center of the device, rather than close to the edges, but I can't say for sure.  There must be a schematic online somewhere.  The instructions you see online are geared towards those who want to open their device to perform a repair and be able to put it back together again; you don't have that worry.  I have no doubt a blow dryer or heat gun may be needed to loosen the glue.  A small flat head screwdriver or jeweler's screwdriver should be sufficient to pry open the case.
