Galaxy S6 Lite Won't Update

My S6 Lite hasn't gotten an update since June of 2022. Every time I try to do a manual update it first says "connecting to server" then it says "Registration Failed". I have my settings for automatic updates over wifi but it has never updated, thus it's still functioning with UI 4.1. Any clues as to why this is happening/not working?

Aahh... android 12 support ended beginning of April...

But why did it stop auto updating in 2022, and I've tried repeatedly over the last six months or more to do a manual update, but get the same results. I really don't want to do a factory reset.

That might have been Samsung updates that ended in 2022, the core android ended this April

Hmmm. As far as I know, my updates on my tablets and phones have always come thru Samsung.

"The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and Tab S6 Lite will continue to receive updates, but the Wi-Fi/LTE models won't."   Your 2022 model probably is no longer eligible for updates.

What do you mean by Wi-Fi/LTE models? Mine is model SM-P610. I'VE even tried resetting the network.
