I sent my S9 into warranty repair for a bad screen, not noticing a hard to see crack.  The S9 was just approaching warranty expiration and the repair department said that the S9 could not be fixed under warranty, never telling me it was a cracked screen.  They said they would fix it for around $300, but I disputed it and they sent it back to me unrepaired.  I had the S9 in a protective case with a cover over the screen.  I think the S9 has a manufactures defect with the screen and should have been replaced under the warranty.  This has upset me and I have been purchasing Samsung products for many years.  I will consider in the future whether I should purchase another Samsung product.

Did you ask the reason why they could not repair under warranty ?

Yes, three times and they never definitively gave me an answer.  They just sent me the S9 back with a document giving multiple options for the non-repair.  The crack is barely visible and to me looks like a manufacturing defect in the screen because of the case I had it in.    That is my opinion and unfortunately, they felt differently.

Humn there is diy options and repair shops. Right now money is tight so you could probably get a good deal on screen replacement if you wanted to persue it.
