Has any had this issue? I bought the S10 Tab+ from ATT, with unlimited data international. I travel to Mexico often and my S24 Ultra is connected to the same network (ATT Mex) as my tablet. Guess what? I can't get any data here. Apparently the tablet is locked at 5G making it useless. We've tried everything; reset network settings, new eSIM, add an ATT AP (gets blocked), called ATT. I was told to contact Samsung but they don't control the net. My tablet says "ATT" in the corner but won't work unless on wifi. Of course it worked in the US.

Data roaming isn't on my guess and could also need plan to cover international

Rather getting a seperate plan for your tablet, why not use your phone as a hotspot for your tablet and pay for just the one international plan?

Agreed. I wouldn't use a public wifi though. Hotspotting is more secure.

True but if it's just random short use be fine but not too secure

They're several reasons why I didn't want to do that. One it kills my battery in my phone fast for extended use. Too I wanted to be able to use a separate data plan on the tablet so someone could use it in our vehicle since I travel a lot. Again connecting to my phone while using navigation, wireless Android auto and my camera kills the battery. Three I do a lot of studying on my tablet and I like to separate the interruptions the phone gives and limit it there. For example when I'm studying Spanish I get messages and it's disruptive. Last in New Mexico some of the places don't have free Wi-Fi.

All good and valid reasons for wanting the tablet to work as it should, though, having your phone set to Do Not Disturb would eliminate interruptions while studying.

True, I started doing that since I took my Spanish learning more serious šŸ¤£
