TabletsI bought A7 from someone and found it is locked. How can I unlock it?
I have tried factory reset several times and I cannot unlock it nor registered. It says it is synced previously with someone and I cannot find help at all.

Tablets@Seedon I'm sorry to hear your device is locked. Unfortunately, the only way to access it is with the previous owner's login credentials. They will need to sign in with the email and password for their Samsung and Google accounts, and then log out of those accounts. This should allow you to use the device.

TabletsThen your only option is to return it if that's possible. If they won't allow the return or you can't get in contact with them, you could try a chargeback with your credit card or bank.

Tablets@Seedon Getting someone to provide their account login info can be difficult. And, sorry to say, this could be stolen and the person you bought it from doesn't have that info.
Probably the best course of action is to return it and get your money back.

TabletsLocked how? Locked to a carrier? Locked with a PIN/Password? Locked to a Samsung and/or Google account?
If it's locked to a Samsung or Google account and you know the person you bought it from, ask them to log it out of their accounts. If it's locked with a pin or password, you can force reset the phone to erase it, but you will not be able to register it to your accounts as long as it is still registered to the previous owner's account. It's possible the previous owner had no intent to scam, but did not realize they had to remove the device from their accounts before they sold it. If it's locked to a carrier, you might have to use that carrier's service for a few months until you can unlock it, or they may unlock it if you ask them. If you bought it from a reseller, they probably do not know who the previous owner is and can't do anything about any of this, but if they have a return policy, you are better off returning it.
