TabletsI'm one of many users who wonder how to change Administrator on a Samsung Tab, in my case A7 SM-T500.
I have a new account on the Tab that I want to be the new Administrator.
I don't want to remove the existing account that is now set as Administrator!
I don't want to do a factory reset and loose all the information!
I just want to change the Administrator from one account to another, which should be very easy and a super standard to do... or not!
I have tried to log in to the Administrators account on the web and have removed the Tab as a registered unit, that that didn't do the trick.
When I want to log out from the existing Administrators account on the Tab, I get a message saying that I will loose a lot of information (which I don't want to), so don't dare to try that.
Please no speculations or coming up with solutions that goes against what I don't want to do (specified above). But I'm happy to buy a beer to anyone with a working solution.
I also dare anyone at Samsung to provide an answer or a link to where I can find the solution to my and probably million of others problem to the most basic thing in the world.
Suggestion to Samsung, add a change user option -> Are you sure you want to change user -> Yes -> Done! ๐
Solved! Go to Solution.

I've now talked to the Samsung support and after three "experts" failed (one answered that I should turn in my "phone" to a service agent), I asked for a supervisor.
The supervisor told me that the only way to do this is via a factory reset.
Before I did that I also removed the old account that was Administrator (it still shows as Administrator anyway).
After the factory reset I could log in to a new account that became administrator.
Good luck everybody!
