What does the newest version of Samsung Messages do?

im seeing alot of negative reviews for the new update its asking me to do, and if possible id prefer to keep samsung messages as i prefer the look and feel of samsung messages, and it still works even wirh RCS for me

App updates are not mandatory the way OS updates are. If you don't want to update the app, just don't. Make sure auto update is off in the Galaxy store. Also, take reviews that don't give a detailed explanation of any issues with a grain of salt. Could be they just don't like a new look. Personally, I always discount negative reviews (for anything) with no details. I look further down for recent reviews with details.
