Ok so this is primarily for Google but maybe Samsung as well. I do not understand group chats or meets at all. How do I find these groups? And what do I type to engage? My husband is a apart of them but won't help me figure it out! I never used them before and want to know how I can! What are different topics to find and discuss?! I tried reading about them but nothing helped me find people or groups or meetings! Tell me how do I start?!! Thank you in advance!!

Open Google Messages: Open the application on your Android device.

Start Chat: Tap the Start chat button (usually a floating bubble with a speech bubble icon or a plus sign).

Create Group: Select Create group.

Add Participants: Select the contacts you want to add to the group. You can search or select from your contact list.

Finalize: Tap Next.

Name the Group (Optional): You can optionally name the group, such as "Family" or "Project Team".

Send Message: Type your message and send it to initiate the group chat.

Customizing Group Chats (RCS Enabled)
If you are using RCS (Rich Communication Services), you can further customize the group:

Change Group Name/Icon: Tap on the group name at the top of the chat, then tap the pencil icon or camera icon to edit the name or choose an image/illustration.

Add Participants Later: Within an existing group chat, you can tap on the group name and select "Add people" to add more members.

Important Notes

Group Limits: While RCS chats can support large groups (up to 100 participants for some users), traditional SMS/MMS groups may have smaller, more limited, or restrictive, capacities.

RCS vs. SMS/MMS: Using RCS is recommended for better group functionality (naming, images, etc.).

You have a husband who won't help you figure something out? He deseves to not be your husband.

Google Meet and Google Messages are two different things. Google Meet is usually used for collaborative messaging among friends or colleagues where multiple people can be on at the same time. It offers video chatting. Consider it like early Zoom. It's not like social media, though where groups are formed and people can join. Groups are formed by a person and they invite people they know to join.

Do a search for Google meet for a more complete explanation.
