Can anyone explain what this is and what it does. I looked it up on the net and it's an APK. However, I'm not fully versed on what APK's are and what this one does specifically. Should I be concerned? Also, somehow at some point Samsung DeX had disguised itself as my launcher under my factory launcher. I've never used Samsung DeX. Need help!!!!!

Everything is perfectly fine. The permission controller does what it's called. Controls permissions of the applications on your phone.

Dex is an Samsung application that pretty much enables your device to work like a computer. It's nothing to worry about.

Apk's are simply put the software package of an application. It's what is downloaded to install an application on your device.

Oh I forgot to add this if you are worried about your device software. Then all you need to do is I'm thus application the Samsung members app. Just hit device diagnostics and it will let you know if something is wrong.
