Samsung Apps and ServicesI am trying to edit (delete) tracked sleep times that registered in Samsung health, as it registered me being inactive while watching a movie, as being asleep. This has previously never been an issue, as there was always an 'edit' option that allowed you to delete sleep periods. I could not find any other posts that may relate, so my apologies if there is one already out there.

Samsung Apps and ServicesI am having the same problem. I was previously able to edit and delete sleep records. Now, I can't find the option anywhere-even for days I was not wearing my watch. This is a big problem for me. I have insomnia and need an accurate sleep log for my doc.

Samsung Apps and ServicesYou need an accurate sleep log, and you are relying on the watch? If there are days you are not wearing the watch, it should not be recording sleep at that time. If you mean you want to add a sleep record for a day you were not wearing the watch. Go to the sleep tile and scroll all the way to the bottom where it says "add sleep" record. Tapping that will bring up the clock and the calendar. Tap the top the area where the date shows, and it will bring up a calendar. Choose the date for where you want to add the sleep record, and then set the time. Adding a sleep record manually will never be accurate, as it will only show one block of time, it won't show the periods of deep/light and restless sleep. IMO, they should add a feature that one can set multiple blocks of sleep on manual entry, so if you have short periods of sleep, then wake, then go back to sleep, that can be recorded manually.

Samsung Apps and ServicesWhat about DELETING an automatic input nap?
I was sitting wide AWAKE today , viewing my device during my 'hour long nap'.
I asked AI for assistance first today, which gave me 3 different sets of instructions to delete the entry. NONE of which worked. I've viewed ALL the sleep screens, including the 3 dots and (i) info screens. There is literally no function to DELETE.
_________
And as for your response to the person with insomia. How RUDE!! It was uncalled for. The person has obviously not worded their comment well. The watch is a great tool, to aid in monitoring sleep patterns. Insomia is part of sleep patterns. Their sleep data is being disrupted by faulty automatic data, an OBVIOUS flaw in the current programming. Going by the number of similar complaints.
Perhaps ask questions first to clarify, BEFORE responding! As your response (as mine now does), sounds very condescending.
I sympathise with insomia suffers. As I personally know several. Thankfully I'm far removed from experiencing that issue, but purchased the Watch8 only 3 weeks ago. So I could monitor my own data, for my own medical issues.

Samsung Apps and ServicesI chatted with an agent named Marvin because I am also having that problem and they told me I have to put my smartwatch in do not disturb mode every single time I'm sitting still because the edit records button is no longer there.
All of my down time is now being counted as naps as well. Honestly, I'll probably switch to Garmin at this point if I can't edit records anymore. The app is useless if it's going to be incorrectly gathering data. I'm really bummed about this because I love Samsung phones, TVs and my watch and now they've just made half the reason I use my watch useless.

Samsung Apps and ServicesThat's ridiculous. The crazy thing is it's just a column/field in the database that they removed during an update.

Samsung Apps and ServicesIt's pretty inconsiderate and infuriating that Samsung won't just put the feature back in place. I'm having the same issue and was trying to find a resolution. Much like how they ruined the features of the swipe buttons from the bottom of the screen.

Samsung Apps and ServicesIt is. And more so, with the latest ONE UI update, it impacted the camera on my S25 Ultra. I would've thought that would definitely be something they'd roll back changes on, but I guess not. But that's a subject for another post.

Samsung Apps and ServicesMarvin does not know what he is talking about. There is nothing about DND that will stop the sensors from thinking you are asleep when your vitals are low enough to register as sleep. DND is only to prevent notifications and phone calls from disturbing you when you do not want to be disturbed. What you should do, if this is a frequent occurrence, is either take the watch off while you are relaxing, or put it in power saving mode and set the power saving to limit the health features. You will, of course, have to remember to turn power saving off before actually going to sleep. Since only one mode can be active at a time, and routines to do not apply to the watch, you might make a power saving mode, whereby when you are relaxing and want to turn power saving on, instead of rooting around in the settings. You will have to turn power saving mode off before you can turn sleep mode on (assuming you use sleep mode). If you don't use sleep mode, just turn power saving mode off when you go to sleep otherwise your sleep will not be tracked and your sleep score will not be calculated. Create the mode as follows:
Turn on manually
Choose what this mode does = Galaxy Watch = power saving (so that the power saving only applies to the watch). Then turn the mode on, when you are sitting around relaxing.

Samsung Apps and ServicesNO everything you mentioned is inconvenient... bring back EDIT and DELETE functions.
"THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT" use to be a motto suppliers lived by.
READ all the complaints. It's an issue, or we wouldn't all be complaining about it.
I'm happy to start complaining on ALL my various Social Media accounts/platforms. I'm fortunate enough NOT to work. So I can COMPLAIN ALL DAY LONG!!!
WE WANT IT FIXED!!!!!!!!!!

Samsung Apps and ServicesAGREE... if I'd known this 3 weeks ago. I wouldn't have wasted $$ purchasing a Watch8.
Really ANNOYED!!!!!
We should be able to manually edit/delete our own data.
If any individual chooses to be dishonest in editing their data, it only them!
