I am trying to edit (delete) tracked sleep times that registered in Samsung health, as it registered me being inactive while watching a movie, as being asleep. This has previously never been an issue, as there was always an 'edit' option that allowed you to delete sleep periods. I could not find any other posts that may relate, so my apologies if there is one already out there.

Hi, @GaryB82 . Thank you. It's not the sleep schedule that I have an issue with. I have 3 times it shows I slept. Two of those are valid, as one is my actual sleep time from the previous night, and the other is a nap I took after work. There is a 3rd entry where I was not actually asleep, but the watch apparently thought I was, when I was watching a movie. There has always been an option to 'edit' the tracked sleep which offered an option to delete. That is no longer there and there are other menu options that I personally don't have any need for.

Today's sleep from last night gives me the ability to delete the entire entry. But going back to yesterday's with 3 periods still does not give the option to edit or delete. And checking previous days, the same holds true... there is no option to edit the sleep session(s) to delete invalid sessions that were registered. Seems like a bug perhaps.

This is a known issue. It happens because most times when we are relaxed and still, doing something like watching TV, our vitals lower and the watch thinks we are in a sleep state. I have gotten ino the habit of checking the app after a long period of not doing anything and then deleting any extra sleep sessions. I also check just before bed, as the only time you can edit sleep is the same day it was recorded. It also doesn't incorporate the extra sessions into your scores, even though it counts the time.

Yes. I know this is a 'functioning as designed' feature of Samsung Health. That is not the issue. The issue is that previously I have been able to click the 3 dots to enter the menu and be provided with an 'Edit' option. Within that edit option, there was an option to delete sleep sessions. That is currently not available. Last night's session gives me the ability to delete the entire session, however, going back to any prior day, I do not have either a delete option or an edit option.

I do not believe one was ever able to delete records for prior days, only on the day it was recorded. I, personally would not delete a sleep record, even if incorrect, as I know my sleep patterns and could tell when it was artificially extended. I do wish, and have sent feedback on, that I could edit and add notes.

I can assure you the option was there, as I've used it multiple times in the past. And when attempting to edit/delete, it was same day yesterday when I attempted to do so. So, unfortunately that theory does not work either. A separate issue is that I was moving around while watching a movie, so it should not have tracked it as a nap to begin with. Anyhow, thanks again. I appreciate you attempting to provide assistance and insight.

Ok. I'll take your word for it. Moving around does not guarantee that your vitals are not low enough to be mistaken for sleep, and if you were not moving the arm with the watch, it may not have counted as movement it may have neen counted as restlessness.
