Samsung Apps and ServicesI am trying to edit (delete) tracked sleep times that registered in Samsung health, as it registered me being inactive while watching a movie, as being asleep. This has previously never been an issue, as there was always an 'edit' option that allowed you to delete sleep periods. I could not find any other posts that may relate, so my apologies if there is one already out there.

Samsung Apps and ServicesYeah this was definitely an option that appears to have gotten silently dropped in a recent update...
Sleep is now useless because it constantly measures random blocks of time in the afternoon as 'naps' incorrectly and I can't do anything about it. I used to at least be able to clear out the buggy measurements.

Samsung Apps and ServicesI posted a solution, or "workaround" if you will, just above your comment, to having the non-sleep being recorded as sleep. I also have gotten into the habit (knowing I can't edit the next day) of checking the sleep tile prior to actually going to bed to see if another sleep session has been recorded. BTW, regardless of additional "naps", your sleep score remains the same as when you woke up in the morning, but you will notice that "points" have been added next to the score to indicate the additional "sleep" sessions (1 point for each nap). If they were true naps, you can just add it to the score and if they were not, you can ignore it.

Samsung Apps and ServicesMASSIVE FAIL!!
You're expecting everyone to manually 'workaround' an EASY programming fix.
Just reinstate EDIT and DELETE functions.
Sounds a better workaround to me!

Samsung Apps and ServicesI have the same problem. Can't beleive something so basic for user experience was removed.
Another work around is to delete the wrong records the same day.
We don't want work around, we want the delete option to be reintegrated for previous days.

Samsung Apps and ServicesReally disappointed reading this thread, I just got my Galaxy Watch a few months ago and have been noticing this problem during video games or even when I'm at work because my hand is mostly still on the keyboard. Also, to everyone saying it doesn't affect your energy score, that's wrong because I've been congratulated several times after one of these "False Naps" and had my energy score increase as if I actually got rest. As someone who is very forgetful, I regularly forget to delete the naps if I don't get the energy score notification, and sometimes even when I do get them, I'm busy and forget to do it later. I specifically bought this watch for the FDA-approved sleep apnea detection, and now I have a hard time understanding how something this bad at tracking awakeness could be approved for that.
On the off chance that anyone from Samsung ever reads this thread: PLEASE ALLOW US TO DELETE NAPS AT ANY TIME. We're grown adults with hopefully enough mental stability and awareness to know when we are and aren't asleep during the day, removing the agency of adults to correct their sleep tracking says you either don't trust your users or you think machines know better than us. Very disappointing. Honestly, I wouldn't even mind if we couldn't delete overnight sleep data and could only delete naps, because that's the biggest issue right now. Thank you for your consideration.

Samsung Apps and ServicesAgree, same issues.
Some days I get recorded 15 hours of sleep bc I'm on meetings all day or watching TV. And it does affects energy score and average sleep statistics

Samsung Apps and ServicesI was able to delete a nap for today but I have not had a chance to test it out on a previous days info yet.
Go into your Sleep record, click the 3 dots in upper right corner. Click on Delete from the drop down menu. Chose the record you want to delete and confirm that you want to Delete it.
Let me know if they allow this feature for other days too, not just the current day.

Samsung Apps and ServicesJust now, the app recorded a nap for over an hour. Which I have spent over an hour trying to find WHERE to delete the automatically added nap.
I was awake. Sitting on my device, during this 'nap' timeframe.
Thinking there must be a current gliche in the programme, with so many reporting similar issues.
Thankfully a 'nap' doesn't seem to affect my stats.

Samsung Apps and Services@ Samsung - I am sedatary more than active, due to medical reasons.
This issue needs addressing!!! Before your product gets a bad rep!
I am a recent watch8 purchaser (3 weeks) and long time samsung product user.
The comments here are NOT ENDEARING. And it seems this issue has been ongoing for a few months now, on this singular thread.
How many other threads complain of the same issue, that I haven't read yet?
DISAPPOINTING!!!!

Samsung Apps and ServicesOk, here's one for you. On Tuesday it recorded me as having a 12 hour nap, while I was out driving around delivering to shops. Heart rate was high, respiratory rate was high, movement was high, still it thought I was asleep and there is NO OPTION TO DELETE IT!!
The rest of the week my sleep scores have been really low because my Sleep consistency is low, even though it's not. Come on Samsung, let us delete your incorrectly assigned naps
