Just like the newer version of messaging, it has a more simplified look to it compared to the original android messages app. But, unfortunately, I can't use the new phone version they made. The blue and white one, it is frustrating. I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this, but I can't answer a call with it unless I open my phone with the pin code. I had to swap back to the older version so I can answer phones without having to speed unlock my phone to do it.
When I receive a call on the old messaging one, it displays the answer or decline and name. The new one will not let me see the call and if I wanted to answer it, I must open my phone.
That is you're phone dialer not a message app there is Google dialer or phone app that can download and use or the one that comes by default the samsung dialer
