Samsung Apps and Services@jvb17 Not sure what you mean by "tape tool". If you want to record audio while taking notes, click the + sign and select audio recorder. Checkout https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS10001577/

Samsung Apps and Servicesits called tape tool feature in 3rd party apps which helps to mask the sentences like a tape, it helps me in active recall so u can tap on them to reveal the sentences which are masked.

Samsung Apps and ServicesIn addition to what @LongHiker said, if a third party app has the features you want, use the third party app. That's why they exist. There is nothing at all magic about Samsung notes that you should feel you *have* to use it, and if you leave the Samsung universe, the notes are proprietary (at the moment), and not transferable to a non-Samsung device.

Samsung Apps and ServicesOh, you mean masking or redacting. You will have to put in a feature request through feedback, although, unless a lightbulb goes on over the head of the developer who reads it, it's likely not going to become a feature unless a lot more requests come in for it.
