After a recent upgrade to One UI 8.0, programs within Secure Folder cannot access files also within Secure Folder.
In particular, the Secure Folder versions of Snapseed (photo editing), Protonmail, and Discord cannot find secured files. Google photos, and Samsung Gallery seem unaffected.
Any help?

Samsung Apps and ServicesI fired up my S20 series phone which doesn't have this bug. The S23 Ultra is a nice shiny paperweight until it gets fixed. I still believe Secure Folder is worth buying Samsung phones for, as long as they don't hamstring it for good.

Samsung Apps and ServicesThis is poor form, Samsung. You flaunt a security feature that people like us drop a lot of money on your phones for, and then force us to use our phones in an insecure fashion (i.e. move files out of the secure folder so we can access it from apps within the secure folder).
Please release an ETA when this issue will be addressed, or a proper statement explaining why apps inside the secure folder can't access files inside the secure folder.
This is not the experience your customers have paid for. And you know it.

Samsung Apps and ServicesNot sure if that would help. May have better luck if all of us start sending emails to the CEO requesting this issue be treated seriously.
The thing that surprises me is that there is no mention of this anywhere else. All websites are touting how the One UI 8 update has actually improved the security of the Security Folder! Either there are not very many people using Secure Folder or they don't use apps that require opening or saving files. Either way, it probably explains why there is no urgency regarding this issue.

Samsung Apps and ServicesI changed my old S9 for a brand new A26 and secure folder sucks ...
Cant't acces to files of the secure folder with apps of the secure folder. Weird...
We lost the setting to lock immediatly the secure folder when swapping to non secure apps
We lost the parameter to unlock immediatly the phone with a specific finger print...
Please take care of that issue first.
