Samsung checkout only prompts for GPay and unable to changed to preferred method?

Okay guys I need help.

Samsung has a promotion going on that if you checkout using samsing checkout/wallet through their app and with your signed in account. Problem is i go to checkout and it only prompts for gpay. I've gone through settings on samsing device itself going into nfc payments and changing that as my preferred method. Even turning off gpay service to no avail. Maybe someone could help me

Can you uninstall/disable Google Wallet in Settings - Apps? I use Google Wallet so I don't know why it insists on being your default.

I've done that. But it seems to be a difference between gpay and Samsung checkout vs Google pay (wallet) and Samsung wallet.

I'm not trying to use my card to checkout in person but rather to checkout online buying product from Samsungs website directly.

Or even just in general to checkout via online retailers.

Turns out you cannot use samsung pay on the samsung website to check out if you're buying their samsung VIP but every other product allows for it.
