Can water tracker on my galaxy and my samsung watch track water and send reminders for a time period starting before midnight and ending after? I work 12 hr night shifts.  It tells me my end time can't be earlier than my start time.... maybe there is a way to select a period of time to silence reminders,  ie remind me all 24hrs of the day EXCEPT the day time hours I sleep?

Or what is a good 3rd party app that would sync seamlessly with Samsung health that would do this?

There is such a thing as do not disturb that you can either turn on manually or schedule to be active during your sleeping hours.  It will block all notifications and phone calls (unless you specifically configure certain ones to disturb you).  No third party app needed, it's built into the UI.  You can find DND in settings/notifications.  There is also a quick panel icon. Also when setting up the start/end time - you have to make sure that your end time is the next day, that's why you are getting the error.  You  have set your start time on the "start" tab, then move to the "end" tab  Start at 12:00 a.m. (midnight) and then scroll to the time you want the reminders to be inactive (ex: 8:00 a.m.).  You have to be aware of when the dial switches from AM to PM and whether the am/pm end time is earlier than the am/pm start time. It does not appear that you can start prior to midnight.  Either dnd, or carefully setting the reminder times should work for you.

Hi! Thanks for the reply.  I know about Do not disturb but I can't use that as i can't silence most of my notifications for a variety of reasons.  Unless I can silence ONLY this app. I bet much paid attention to there start and end time,  the a.m. and p.m. it won't let you cross midnight when I do it.  If I could set TWO time frames each day, that would solve it.  Or have an option to EXCLUDE a time frame instead of when to INCLUDE reminders?

You can put feedback in to the development team.  https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Tips-Tricks/How-to-Send-Feedback/ba-p/3001692

You can silence only the health app by selecting ONLY the apps you want to receive notifications from while in do not disturb mode, and don't choose the health app - or you can simply allow all apps, except the selected apps. You have two choices.  Allow selected apps (select the apps you want notifications from) and Allow all EXCEPT selected apps (choose the apps you DO NOT want notifications from).  You said you worked 12 hour shifts.  What are your sleeping hours?

Another option would be to set the notification sound for the water reminders to "silent".  Not set the alerts to silent, but choose the notification sound as silent and allow vibration.   You will still get notifications, but you won't hear them.  You will need to have notification categories  turned on for this, if you don't already.  If you have modes synced with the watch, you can turn on sleep mode when you go to bed, which includes do not disturb (which you can configure separately from the normal do not disturb mode), which will prevent notifications from coming on the watch.

I work 7 days on then 7 days off. I generally go to sleep at 7am and wake at 2, or some days 8a to 3p depending on if I'm stuck at work late. The sounds don't wake me.  Only a phone call will.  So I could just have it remind me 24 hrs a day.  But it would be nice for us night workers to have the option in the app like the third party apps have! I hate the clutter of unnecessary notifications,  lol.

Thanks for your help!

I don't use reminders to drink water.  How often does it remind you?  Every hour? Every 10 minutes?  Either way, it would drive me nuts to have to be reminded.  I understand that it's easy to forget to drink, but I have a built in physiological reminder (it's not thirst).
