This morning I woke up and turned on my tv to realize that there is no Samsung TV plus app. It used to always be the first thing that would open automatically, the first app in the Smart Selection. It literally is GONE. I have never had an app just disappear like that, more specifically the own company’s app for their free provided tv service which is WHY I purchased their TV. Let’s fix this Samsung. Please and Thank You
If you guys are aware of the problem, then you should let people know by displaying a message on your main page here. This should be pinned to the top of the news section, 1200 likes doesn't seem like much for such a big company, but that's just the people who were able to find this thread.
I get being reserved to protect from liability, but transparency and pro-active actions go a real long way for those of us who pay attention
I mean, I know a changelog for my phone is reaching too far (ridiculous) but a little message at the top of this website saying you're aware that users of the TV plus app may be experiencing difficulties, but you're hard at work to resolve the complaints.... well that admits nothing and notifies EVERYONE you're doing something. That's a lot better then having to dig into community forums to eke out a non-answer. Ya see where I'm going with this Samsung?
Mine wiped out Samsung app but also says it's connected to the Internet but when I hit TV it says it's not connected. Of course I'm sure that's because there are no channels to go to
I went to see if I may need an update to fix the problem before I found this feed. When I select Software Update it says this function isn’t available
Did anybody figure out the situation did the aliens blow up the satellite or did somebody hack into the computer system or did somebody accidentally just delete All the technology in the world in a man can't watch his TV
This keeps happening with my Q70. One of the reasons I bought the Samsung was for TV Plus, which is great when it works. Also, my Samsung Soundbar crashes when I turn on Pluto TV. It's frustrating.
Funny, I don't have these kinds of software glitches with my Sony. Guess which brand I'll be upgrading to next time around, unless they fix these bugs...
