I can't recall if this has been answered in this forum before, but is there a way to enable Samsung Pass in the Secure Folder? Specifically, I would like to be able to use the Samsung Pass keyboard shortcut.

If Samsung Pass is already a secured app, why would you need it in the secure folder?  Samsung Pass now being part of Samsung Wallet, putting the wallet in the secure folder would negate the easy access to your payment cards (if you use the wallet).  However, I think the only way to find out if it will work in the secure folder with your keyboard, would be to put it there and then remove it if it fails to work properly.

Samsung Pass can still be used as an individual application if you don't agree to have it, put it into the Samsung wallet. I want it for easy account input for work.

Again, it still leaves the question of why put a secure app into the secure folder?

What other password manager would YOU use in there? šŸ¤Ø

I would not put any app with its own secure lock in the secure folder.  There is no reason to.  Password managers, by their very nature, are secure and you have to unlock it with your password or fingerprint.  Maybe not so much Samsung Pass, as it unlocks when you are logged into your Samsung account.  How many people are accessing your phone to use your Samsung pass?  Do you keep your phone unlocked and unattended at work so anyone can access it?  I use Roboform and I have to use my fingerprint every time I want to log into a site, because I set the app unlock to time out after a certain amount of time.  I can choose "never", but I choose not to.  The secure folder is primarily meant to secure apps that do not have their own security that you do not want others to gain access to either by design or accident - like an Excel spreadsheet containing sensitive data (although I believe there's a mechanism to secure lock a workbook), or to place things in if you choose not to have a security lock on your phone at all.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did you miss the part where I specified I wanted the password manager in the Secure Folder for LOGGING INTO accounts. Which would infer those accounts are located in the Secure Folder. If I don't remember the password as it's saved in Samsung Pass, and the app/site doesn't offer to plug one in at log in, it would be very helpful to still be able to use the Samsung Pass keyboard shortcut to access it. Would it not? šŸ¤Ø

I did not miss that part.  Did *you* miss the part where I questioned why you would put *any* app that had its own security into the secure folder.  Did you also miss the part where I suggested that the only way to find out if it works the way you want it to would be to put it in the secure folder and then try to use it?

Your questioning of why you'd put any app with its own security into the Secure Folder led me to believe you weren't using critical thinking. Apologies. šŸ™
Samsung Pass is currently in my Secure Folder. My entire point of this post was to see if anyone knew of any settings I may have missed or hidden menus. Not to have my logic or reasoning questioned.

I wasn't questioning your logic, exactly.  I really am curious as to why someone would do that.
