Samsung Messages RCS stops working after a day

I got it working for like 3days, then it just stopped, chat settings and stuff was still on tho.

What happened, how do I fix this?

Is your complaint that you have to use Data in order to send RCS messages?

All 3 messages services, Google, Samsung and IMessage all use internet data when not on Wifi. IF you want enhanced messaging this is the price you pay.

Samsung has already been very gracious to the users who want to continue using SMessages by not immediately discontinuing the app and leaving Gmessages as the only option.

I personally LOVE the features of GMessages. I genuinely don't understand the resistance.

Me either! For most it is because it is not PRETTY enough for them!

I can understand some of the complaints about Google Messages not having categories, no selection copy and paste and especially now trashcan!

Most carriers have stopped supporting RCS on Samsung Messages, as well as their own messaging apps (i.e. Verizon's Message+). Switching over to Google Messages will ensure RCS works correctly most of the time.
