I made a mistake updating my old version 8 by Version 9. Now the program display is very small and the Display Option to resize the theme is greyed.
Unfortunately I deleted the version 8.x installation file and can't find the old versions.
I suppose the problem is in the horrendous Windows 11 pro but Samsung should do something to help as to overcome this misbehavior.
So, please Samsung, provide a link to download the old versions.

Thanks Gary but at this moment I don't have time to go back to 9. Search the web and you will find some reports on this problem.

I did find version 8.1 and now everything is normal. But, the problem should be fixed.

As many users have observed, it is normally not just the program that causes an extremely small interface when one upgrades to version 9. It has a higher connection with the way Windows 11 responds to display scaling and DPI, especially on high-resolution displays. By default, when this occurs, the in-app display or theme scaling options might become unavailable and turned grey since the application is instead using the scaling settings of Windows.

Before attempting to downgrade, one can check a few things on the Windows side:

To start with, in Windows 11 under Settings/System/Display, make sure that the scale option is set to something reasonable (125 percent or 150 percent on high-resolution monitors). When it is too small, numerous desktop applications will be minuscule.

Second, you may experiment with the DPI behavior of the program. Right-click the executable file of the program, select Properties, and in the Compatibility tab, select Change high DPI settings, and turn on high DPI scaling behavior Override high DPI scaling behavior, and try the options (Application, System, or System (Enhanced)). This frequently includes fixes of small UI problems following significant version upgrades.

When you are connected to an external display or have a laptop with an extremely high native resolution, another thing to check temporarily is to disconnect the external display or to switch to the internal display to determine whether the issue is scale related.

On downloading older ones, Samsung does not typically provide any public downloads of the older version downloads when a newer one is available, and community members are not able to share any installers due to licensing and security concerns. The safest solution is to simply approach Samsung Support and make it understand that you cannot use version 9 because of scaling problems. Support may offer a formal work around in certain situations or provide recommendations on roll back.

Lastly, when the display size option is permanently switched off in version 9, it might be a known issue or compatibility with Windows 11. It is significant to report it to Samsung using its support or feedback section so that it would be corrected in the subsequent update.

It is also hoped that one of the scaling or DPI settings of Windows will address the problem without the necessity to switch to an older version.
