S21 Ultra SMS delivery reports

Android 14, UI 6.1, last update January, 20.2025.

There are no options for Samsung sms Delivery reports. For Google sms works, there is an option and it shows double icons bellow text content when it is delivered.

Samsung has no such options so there is no way of telling if sms text is delivered or not. Even with chat settings set on, same thing.

Any suggestions for fixing this?

Read receipts are a feature of RCS chats. Google Messages supports RCS chat and has this feature.

Samsung Messages doesn't have RCS chat, so read receipts aren't available in that app.
