Samsung Apps and ServicesIf you don't read them that's on you. In this day and age, everyone knows the terms of most TOS/EULAs. If you buy an electronic device, or use software, you are agreeing to the terms of service whether you read them or not. If you buy a Windows or Mac computer, you *know* there are going to be updates and you agree to that. Microsoft forced the updates for a while and only recently went back to making them optional, but if you don't get them you lose security features and performance improvements.
Nokia went back to making a basic phone.

Samsung Apps and ServicesI've been on Microsoft since before there were updates. I never agreed to anything. We are forced to because they have no competition. We kept Windows what ever was before 10 until we were forced to update at home. Luckily my employer is on the same pages as me but even less choice there. They pay for software that doesn't work right and we are left banging out head against the wall.
I'm not tech stupid, but analogies was better. Disc's were better because programmers actually made **bleep** that worked and any agreement was on paper so we could actually read it if we had insomnia.

Samsung Apps and ServicesTOS/EULA's haven't changed in 40 years. Maybe a couple of things were added/updated for new tech/laws, but it's pretty standard - you use the product, you agree to the terms. Whether you read them or not, it's still on the user to know them. Many tech blogs point out non-standard clauses. However, all devices have accessibility options (it's actually the law), and screen zoom and screen magnification exists. Computers exist to be able to go to the website and read it in larger print. Libraries exist for those that don't have computers. The fact is, no one WANTS to read them, because TLDR. You can't NOT read the TOS and then complain that they are doing/not doing something that was explicitly spelled out in the TOS. As they say, ignorance of the law does not make you not culpable. Same as with TOS's - just because you don't know what's in them, doesn't mean you didn't agree to them.

Samsung Apps and ServicesI'm sick of the AI guessing typos wrong or changing correctly spelled words into completely different words.

Samsung Apps and ServicesOnce again for the comprehension impaired; THE TOS HAS NOT CHANGED IN RECENT YEARS, and if you were born in this century or the last, they are standard and one should know what they encompass. If you don't know what they are, you don't put your device into service. Once you do, you have agreed to the terms whether you know what they are or understand them. As a matter of fact, you have to actually either tap the big AGREE button or check the box to acknowledge you agree before you can go any further with your device setup.
All you really need to understand is that with any electronic device, when you put it into service, you are agreeing that they get to do updates and the updates do not have to be to your liking, nor do they have to personally email you and tell you what the changes are. If you do not like the updates, you are perfectly free to purchase another device where you like the interface better. But, understand, that some of the changes made, were Google's changes. Don't forget, the update encompasses a new Android version, as well as the user interface.
