Try this


Wipe Cache Partition.
Turn off phone.
While powered down, press power key and volume up button simultaneously until the phone vibrates. Let go of buttons. You will now be in the bootloader. Using Volume buttons for scrolling, power button for Yes.
Scroll down to Wipe Cache Partition. Press power, scroll to Yes, press power. Reboot press power key.

I'll let you know if this fixes it. For longer than clearing cache of apps manually does.

Also step 1: phone must be plugged into a pc with USB for this to work

No, it doesn't.
Unless they changed it on the S23 series.

I have been this directly on my phone for years.

It is how I do it on my S25U.

If you try that without it plugged in it goes to download a custom ui, instead of recovery mode. I had to Google how to do it for the s23

I can't take a screenshot in recovery mode. This is what pops up when I let go of the buttons.

I have an unlocked phone, and I always had an, unlocked phone. That was how I always did it on my S22U, S23U, S24U and now my S25U.

There's really no reason to try to argue about it. I'm trying to help anyone else that is having cache issues. I appreciate your fix, because it seems to still be working so far.

Never mind problem still triggers even after the cache partition wipe. Hopefully they fix stuff soon.

In the Members app, in the support tab, go to feedback and report your issues.

I would suggest using the System and Settings category, next often, then describe what is happening.

Then send at the top.

Do not leave the Members app until all logs are collected.
