I hate updates. They change the way my phone works and looks. I like things to stay the same!!!! One time I had an update to my old Note 3 and it literally made it stop charging. That's pretty messed up.

Update wiped out calendar

Update changed some of the icons on various apps

This isn't about security updates. I like those. It's about changing custom settings that you can't change back. Everyone sets up keyboards settings, theme setting screen settings . Most likely want us to all buy a the newest version of phone especially with trade war tariffs. 🙄

This update just messed everything up on my phone. I can barely use my phone now. My contacts are not right. I can't find my flashlight. I really wish I would be warned my whole phone was going to change before an update. I wouldn't accept this. I wish I knew how to go back

The even changed my screen time out setting from 10 minutes to 30 seconds unless I am "looking directly at the screen " because There AI uses Face recognition and detection to help battery drainage. Creepy

I had seen that other S22 models were getting their One UI 7 update for the past few days. But today May 5 my S22 Ultra Unlocked model S908U1 got the notification. Now I'm wondering if I should do it or not based on some of the threads and posts I've read on here. But I use Nova Launcher (not the Samsung Home UI) for my layout since it's fully customizable.

I updated my S24 plus and I use Action Launcher. My wife's phone has Nova Launcher. Neither of us have experienced any issues.

I just did the update. Nova launcher is working fine. One thing that I miss befor One UI 6 was that the AOD Notification Icons were individual colors (such as YouTube showed Red, new Emails shows Blue, etc.) But with One UI 6 all the AOD Notification Icons are white and more different to tell the difference. I had thought One UI 7 brought the individual colors back, but it hasn't.
