One UI 7/ Android 15 Feedback and Feature Requests

Please include guests mode to ui 7 or multiuser feature other small phone have it talk less of High cost phone. I hear the feature is included in iPad thanks

Update isn't as bad as what others are claiming

After using it for a day, a few changes I wish I could make:

1) Have the battery level show like it used to be, with just a number % instead of the "pillbox". Once the level starts getting low, the number on the right side is harder to see because of the white shade of the pillbox.

2) The drop-down shortcut icons could be changed to left-right swipe instead of up-down scrolling.

3) Before UI 6, the Always on Display Notification Icons would each have their individual color (YouTube would be red, text messages would be blue, email green). But in UI 6 and UI 7 they notification icons are all white. This makes it harder to distinguish which icons are there if the brightness is not all the way up.

I do not understand how any company who writes software would think that it is ok to change so much of the interface. My phone is almost unusable as you have completely removed or changed a lot of the features I am used to using. My display is stuck in dark mode with the option of changing that grayed out. I am tired of Samsung always trying to force their features down our thoats. News flash no one wants to use Bixby, or your AI, or any of those other features especially when Google has all the same stuff and so does ATT. I mean think about how much you are bombarding your customers when you have all three companies competing on a device WE PAID FOR. Our mobile devices are not your marketing tool so STOP already. I was seriously about to get the new Galaxy phone but after this I am most likely going to another brand because I am just sick of this.

You do realize it was Google that changed everything in Android 15, meaning Samsung had to take everything that was changed and then integrate Samsung's One ui7. I have one suggestion in two different places. In the members app there is a place where you can go for tips and tricks, or you can go to YouTube and look for Tips and Tricks One UI7. You also have to remember that when you purchased your phone, and you got cellular service, you gave Samsung, and your cellular provider the ability to update without your permission.

You do realize that your comment adds zero value to this topic. I am entitled to my opinion and I and I am fully aware of my option to go to youtube and other learning resources but I do not want to have to go learn new tips and tricks for something that worked perfectly fine in the first place. Please take a look at the title to my post it clearly says ONE UI 7.0 not Android 15. If you do not have anything constructive to add why dont you just keep scrolling. Its crazy that you responded to my post like 7 minutes after I posted it, is your life that boring that you sit around and wait for things to comment on?

You do realize that when we bought the product, we expected a certain level of professionalism from the company. We also bought the product with expectations of use. Could you imagine buying a smart fridge and they update it to control your fridge temp to be 44° because they feel it's the "perfect temp". Not allowing you to adjust it? That's exactly the response you just gave. Sounds like you work for them and are doing damage control. This update is absolute garbage. Just because they can, doesn't mean they should.

I wholeheartedly agree. I'm all for security upgrades and things under the hood, so to speak, that I don't have to see.

But, once I buy a device the interface should not change in function or visuals by even 1%. I don't care about new features. I don't want new features. I want the device I bought to stay the way I bought it.

Everyone involved in this bs should be fired on the spot.

If people want the bs they're peddling, then they can update the UI in such a way that people can change their settings to the new version. Those of us who dont care about brainless stupidity never have to know about it.

These companies need to learn their place. WE are the boss. When we say jump, they're to ask how high. Not argue about their policies or how they think things should be done. Their job is to do what we tell them to the letter or cease to exist

I do not understand at all where you guys are coming from. When you set up your phone, you agree to the Terms and Conditions saying that while it is your phone, it's Samsung and Google's OS and Skin... if you don't want that, then don't buy the phone 😒. Otherwise I do not know what to tell you
