Samsung come on seriously what's going on with the messages app 

Why is it u cant make the Google messages ur own with the customization features u r known for and rcs ?

Sorry but Samsung can't take Google Messages and add stuff to it that is all on Google to do

negative, they discontinued Samsung Messages do to majority of ppl wanting Google Messages and overall easier for Samsung due to having all functions and RCS built in

Incorrect. Samsung Messages is still working and it's not discontinued.

Samsung Messages still works fine with RCS. You can download it from the store. I have been using it for years and it has never stopped working.

Please provide a link to an official statement from Samsung U.S. to support your claim that Samsung messages will retain RCS support.

Currently, the official literature indicates that Google Messages is required for RCS.
