Is there a feature on either Samsung or Google message app that allows you to select and respond to a specific message?

@lumaven Since the answer seems simple, not sure if I understand the question. Click on the message to open it. Type in your response and click send.

I mean a specific message, like a thread. You can do this in WhatsApp, Instagram messages, FB messenger. In Google messages, I see where you can click on a message but only emojis and creating an image for photoemojis pops up.

@lumaven If this isn't possible, you could long press on the earlier message, copy, and then quote it in another message.

See @TheNateBrown 's response for a solution in Google messages in an RCS conversation.

Swipe to the right on the exact response/message you want to reply to and it'll put it in your response to let you reply to just that message.

@TheNateBrown Oh, cool! Thanks for that tip. In Google Messages it works but only if the conversation is an RCS conversation.

You should be able to reply to a specific message by swiping left on it, i know on Google Messages you can do that
