What are you trying to accomplish with a routine? Do you want magnification to start automatically upon some action? Or do you just want a shortcut to the magnifier? You can just add the magnifier widget to your home screen for one touch access. Widgets/magnifier.
So we're not mixed up I'd like to clarify that I'm looking for the magnification feature an on screen zoomed in window of what's being displayed. Magnifier is looking through the camera and can be called by Bixby and the widget. I'm asking for - magnification - for my elderly parents. Just trying to find something that works, ideally through a voice command.
You can permanently have screen magnification by adjusing the screen zoom to make text larger, in the display settings. In accessibility, you can tap on magnification to turn the screen magnifier on, and you can enable the slider to add a shortcut to the nav bar (accessibility icon). I do not believe you can do it via a Bixby voice action or routine.
