I've spent the last 30 minutes trying to change the Message notification sound. I've found many articles and forum messages that describe how to change the setting but apparently they have recently changed things as the options are not what is described.
I have found how to change the notification sound for a conversation which works but I want to set change the default message notification sound.
Has anyone figured out how to change the sound for the fold3? Mine is still not working, and it's stuck on the squeeze sound I previously changed it to. I suspect they removed the sound change during some update because I used to be able to make changes very easily. I'm very annoyed, and no one seems to be able to help me. I contacted Tmobile customer service/tech support. They were no help.
I finally found it! I have the flip 3, hopefully the procedure is the same for you. Go to settings >apps >messages >notifications >notification categories (this is what I could not figure out) >new messages >sound And there it is! I hope this works for you.
