I’m writing because your app has crossed a boundary it has no right to touch. I do not want to see photos of my ex. Not occasionally, not accidentally, not ever. Yet your “Memories” feature continues to push unwanted, emotionally loaded images into my day without my permission, as if you’ve decided you know better than I do what I should be reminded of. Let me be direct: this is not a harmless oversight. It is invasive, disrespectful, and infuriating. You are presenting content that I would never choose to revisit and forcing it into moments when I am blindsided by it. The level of emotional recklessness in this design is astonishing. You need to understand the severity of this. People go through breakups, trauma, loss. We do not need a photo algorithm digging up things we deliberately left behind. The fact that I have to say this out loud is absurd. Give users an unambiguous option to permanently block specific people from ever appearing in Memories. Not a partial setting, not a workaround, not a hope-it-works tweak. A real solution. Until you fix this, your “Memories” feature is not thoughtful or nostalgic. It is an intrusion. And it needs to stop.

@jeff877542456 Sorry that you are experiencing this. Is it Gallery's stories that you are talking about? You can turn off "Auto create stories" in the Gallery settings.

Or do you mean "On this day" notifications from OneDrive? You can turn those off in OneDrive settings -> Notifications.

There is no "memories" feature in gallery. There is a "stories" feature and it can be turned off. Even so, I don't think it can serve up photos that no longer exist, so you must not have deleted those photos from everywhere gallery has access - google photos, onedrive.
