Galaxy themes and Android 16 compatibility

After setting up my Galaxy A16 5G I noticed that some of my Galaxy themes are not compatible with my phone one of my themes is not optimized for my device besides the theme being installed on my phone would this mean most of my Galaxy themes are not compatible with my Galaxy A16 5G

It is the responsibility of the theme's developer to update their theme. You can usually find the dev's contact info on their galaxy store profile.

@CEParsons is right. You should be using Good Locks Theme Park module anyway! It's free and gives more control for customization.

That happens with updates.  You have to get in touch with the theme developer and ask if they have an updated theme.  Sometimes it's just a matter of uninstalling and reinstalling the theme.

This is what I dont like about Galaxy Themes and Wallpapers. Even if you buy them they can become incompatible and that includes the video lockscreens and aods as well. I had a lot of them go incompatible with One UI 7.

I do copy my favorite Galaxy Wallpapers to my gallery so if they become incompatible they work from the gallery.

It is up to the theme developer to update their themes to be compatible with the new OS versions.  Many times they do just that, but you might need to uninstall and reinstall the theme.  You have to contact the theme developer to find out if there is one, or request an update.  Even if the theme is no longer compatible and you have used it for a while, consider it a rental. It's not like you paid hundreds of dollars for a theme.
