Is there a way to keep the picture the same size so that it's easier to draw and markup the picture (see the larger screenshot image)?

When I tap to Draw the picture image gets small and with a black wide border around it - this makes it extremely hard to accurately draw because it's so small. (See the smaller screenshot image).

This is not a new problem. I've seen it this way for years and never said anything about it primarily because I didn't know how or where to mention it. It really bothers me that it goes small and not stay the same size. It would be helpful if you could help me to keep it the same size to edit.

---------------------

A second thing is -
When RESIZING or squaring up an imagine WITHIN a picture.... Everytime I try to do this the image gets larger along with trying to just capture that one image (like the head of a dog in a person's lap, for example). Everytime I do that it gets bigger and bigger when I only want to keep it small, say to for in a particular space. I know it's very hard to explain, but perhaps you've tried this and know exactly what I'm talking about. I want to keep the image small so how do I do that? If you don't understand what I'm trying to get across I will try again... With picture.

So I have 2 questions

When I want to draw more accurately on a picture I am editing, I just take two fingers and enlarge the image and center the part I want to draw on/type on.  When I'm finished doing that. I pinch the photo back to size and save it. For example - pic 1 = normal edit window, pic 2 = enlarged view for detail work.
